All About Thin Line 29

Thin Line 29 started as a hobby — something we do because we truly enjoy it. We’re not chasing volume or trying to build a big-box business. Instead, we take our time, work at our own pace, and put 100% into each piece.

For us, it’s about the process, the transformation, and bringing something old back to life. Every project gets our full attention — and we believe that’s what makes Thin Line 29 a little different.

One of our favorite parts of this journey is the hunt — finding pieces that deserve a second life. Along the way, we’ve met so many great people, each with a story to tell. It often reminds us of American Pickers, where the stories behind the items matter just as much as the items themselves.

We’ve found the same to be true. When we ask, “What’s the story behind this piece?” people light up. What starts as a simple question often turns into conversations about family history, memories, and the life that piece has lived before it found its way to us.

Those moments are what make this more than just furniture.

We are Bob & Michelle — a husband-and-wife team behind Thin Line 29 LLC. As parents of three transitioning into empty nesters, this has become something special for us — a way to slow down, create with purpose, and enjoy the process together.

When we’re not sanding, painting, or staging a piece, you’ll probably find us planning our next adventure, taking a cruise, or simply enjoying time together.
