All About Thin Line 29

Thin Line 29 started as a hobby - something we do because we truly enjoy it. We don't chase sales or are we trying to build a big business.  We take our time, work at our own pace, and put 100% into each piece.  For us, it's about the process, the transformation, and seeing something old come back to life.  Every project gets our full attention, and that's what makes Thin Line 29 a little different!

People and Stories

One of our favorite parts of refurbishing furniture is the hunt for pieces that deserve a second life. Along the way, we met many friendly and interesting people—each with a story to tell. It often reminds us of the show American Pickers, where Mike Wolfe talks about the people he meets and the incredible stories behind the items they sell.

We found the same to be true in our experiences. When we ask someone, “So, what’s the story behind this furniture set?” their face usually lights up. It’s a simple question, but it gets people thinking. Many share that the piece was passed down from a parent or grandparent, or that it has been part of their family for generations.

Before long, we’re deep in conversation—not just about the furniture, but about their family history and the memories connected to it. Those moments make refurbishing furniture even more rewarding.

This Is Us

We are Bob & Michelle - a husband-and-wife team who believe in slowing down, creating with purpose, and enjoying the little things.  Parents of three we are transitioning to empty nesters and appreciate the opportunity to have more time to focus on ourselves.  When we're not sanding, painting, or staging a new piece, you'll probably find us planning our next adventure, taking a cruise, or just laughing with each other.
